Gurukul takes its name from Gujarat Vidyapith, the university founded by Mahatma Gandhi, and is a densely populated residential-commercial area along Drive-In Road. PG demand comes from university students, coaching aspirants, and professionals working along the SG Highway–Drive-In corridor. The area has an active market, a lively street-food scene anchored by the Gurukul Road stalls, and good BRTS metro access. Rents are moderate, and the area's central-west position means both CG Road and SG Highway are reachable within 15-20 minutes by auto.
