HITEC City is Hyderabad's flagship IT district, housing campuses of Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Facebook and hundreds of other companies. The HITEC City metro station on the Blue Line extension connects to Ameerpet and the rest of the city. PGs here are the most expensive in the tech corridor. Most IT workers who seek value find accommodation in nearby Madhapur, Kondapur or Kukatpally and commute to their HITEC City offices.
