Aliganj is a densely populated zone in north Lucknow known for its coaching centres, schools, and the busy Kapoorthala and Sector-O markets. The University of Lucknow, BBAU, Integral University, Amity, and several medical and engineering colleges draw tens of thousands of students each year.
