Lakdikapul is a central Hyderabad zone near the Assembly, Nizam's Institute (NIMS) and the Hussain Sagar lakefront. Lakdikapul Metro station (Red Line) sits right on the main road, connecting to Ameerpet and LB Nagar. PGs draw government employees, medical professionals at NIMS and young workers in Abids and Secretariat-area offices. Rents are moderate to high for central Hyderabad. The area is noisy along the main road but quieter in the back lanes.

Hyderabad's rental market is shaped by its booming IT sector concentrated in HITEC City, Gachibowli and Madhapur, collectively the city's western tech corridor. Hyderabad's relatively low cost of living compared to Bengaluru and Mumbai has attracted a large migrant workforce, making PGs and co-living spaces a active market especially in the western suburbs. PG rents in Hyderabad are considerably lower than Bengaluru or Mumbai. The western tech corridor (Madhapur-HITEC City-Gachibowli) commands the highest rents, while areas like Kukatpally, Miyapur and the old city offer sizeable savings.
