Ahmedabad is Gujarat's largest city and a major draw for education, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and the growing IT sector. Institutions like IIM Ahmedabad, Gujarat University, CEPT, NID, and numerous engineering colleges draw students from across western India. The city's industrial estates in Naroda, Vatva, and Sanand, along with the GIFT City financial hub near Gandhinagar, create diverse employment that drives PG and hostel demand.
