Sayajigunj is the commercial heart of Vadodara, adjacent to the railway station and MSU. Government offices, courts, commercial businesses, and banks make it a busy daytime hub. Manjalpur is a residential and industrial area in southern Vadodara, close to the GIDC industrial estate. It draws PG demand from workers and engineers posted at nearby factories, plants, and the ONGC campus. The area is also home to some colleges and training institutes. Rents are low-cost with meals-included PGs common near the industrial zones. For those working in south Vadodara's manufacturing belt, Manjalpur offers the shortest possible commute.

Gotri is a rapidly developing residential area on Vadodara's western side, along the Gotri Road corridor. SSG Hospital and the Government Medical College are key demand drivers for PGs here, bringing in a steady stream of medical students, residents, and hospital staff. The area has newer construction, wider roads, and a growing number of shops and eateries. Compared to the older city centre, Gotri provides a more modern living experience at moderate rents.

Vasna-Bhayli Road is a developing corridor on Vadodara's western periphery, with a spread of residential plots, apartment complexes, and new township projects. It offers some of the city's most budget rental options due to its distance from the centre. The area suits those with private transport or a workplace on the western side of the city. New construction means more PG picks are becoming available each year, and the road is gradually gaining commercial facilities like shops and eateries.
