About the area
Duvvada is home to Vizag's Special Economic Zone and a cluster of pharma, packaging, and manufacturing units. It is located on the western outskirts, along the Vizag–Vijayawada rail and road corridors. PG demand comes primarily from SEZ workers and factory employees posted at the industrial units. Rents are low, and the area has an industrial-township character with canteens and basic services. The Duvvada railway station provides rail access for those commuting from other parts of the region.
